#Short Scary one 2014
“I had a dream, which was not all a dream, The bright sun was extinguish’d, and the stars, Did wander darkling in the eternal space, Rayless, and pathless, and the icy earth, Swung blind and blackening in the moonless air; Morn came and went—and came, and brought no day, And men forgot their passions in the dread and then the coasters came and people they fled.”
Yep its the annual #Short Scary One, menacing the good folk of ye olde Woking on the Ham.
Seven evil souls of the earth emerged and feasted upon the flesh of the Saints of Sebastians before fleeing into the night to reak their foul stench of running tops on the darkest most desperate areas of Wokingham. Crawling across the King George V playing field the pack scampered like beasts of hell through the streets to find the playing field of Langborough road empty (had some other ghouls got their before hand?).
Sending the frightened souls of the Ham fleeing into their homes the ghosts, ghouls, skeletons and other weird things raced through streets, jumped over fences, swam brooks and flew across railway lines like a pack of dementors before finding themselves thirsty for mead and heading for the public Inn of the Ship of desolation.
There a strange thing happened. The mephistophele like evil disappeared like a cloud evaporating from a pair of trainers dipped in stagnant water leaving behind just seven runners. Was it a dream, a will-o’wisp, or a drug induced mass hallucination?
